Chia Luen Lo on the 2nd August 1947 at the Annual Meeting of the Delhi Branch of the Pracyavani under the presidency of Dr. [...] The introduction of Buddhism into China dates back probably to a century before the year 65 A. D. when Emperor Ming of the Later Han Dynasty had his famous dream of the Holy Man interpreted as the revelation of Buddha. [...] Through the more frequent contacts with the Western culture and civilization and especially by the introduction of the scientific method both China and India have been working out different ways leading to the adaptation of our lives and fortunes to an entirely new international environment. [...] Believing as we do in the fundamental affinity of all religions and cultures and it being one of the fundamental objects of our Institute to create and foster a permanent feeling of friendship and fraternity among the different gommunities and nations of the world we make an appeal specially to the members of the Institute to undertake this noble task of bringing about a cultural harmony betwe [...] Meeting we staged the Abhijnana-Sakuntala of the immortal Poet Kalidas and this year we staged the Mibar-Pratapam of the veteran scholar MM.
