Apparenly this garden party will be the last one to be held in the etremely picturesque grounds of the present Viceregal Lodge:; as next October the Viceroy prposes to move out to the Viceroy's House as the new palace is to be called by the King's order in the new Capital. [...] t23 The Delhi Horse Show The Imperial Delhi Horse Show held on the Tis Hazari Maiclan from the 18th to the 23rd February in the vicinity of the main railway station was once more a brilliant success and the organisers of the show are to be heartily congratulated on the improvements they make each year for the comfort of those who attend it. [...] Add to the meetings of the Chamber of Princes polo and tennis tournaments meetings of the Legislature and innumerable banquets dinners and functions of 'various kinds and it can readily be understood that some people find life fairly hectic in the month of February in the Imperial Capital. [...] The programme so far as the King is concerned is I undestand a removal to Bognor for the first stage of the convalecence and then the South of France as 'soon as the doctors pronounce His Majesty fit enough to stand a longer journey and then what is called a prlonged yachting cruise."
