`The rules of business of the governing body must be submitted to the Director for approval.' `Save as the local Government may permit the buildings of an aided college may not be used for other than educational purposes except with the permission of the commissioner of the division.'.. No appointment may be confirmed until it has received the sanction of the Director and the Director may enq [...] (These powers will ordinarily be exercised by the Deputy Inspector in the case of primary schools and by the Inspector in the case of other schools.) `Government may forbid the employment in an aided school of any teacher who has been declared by the Director unfit to be a teacher.' The amount of control claimed and retained by the Government although very useful in some cases has left comparat [...] The establishment is under the immediate charge of Captain J. W. Petavel Organisinj Secretary of the gducational Colonies Association and under a committee presided over by the Hon'ble the Mharajah of Cossimbazar who is founder and patron of the establishment The committee will be pleased to hear from the guardians of young men who disire to join. [...] The appointment of a strong comittee representing all interests to consider the question of the reorganization of the Government Law School Bombay is evdence of the welcome change of attitude. [...] The action of the Government is the outcome partly of the recommendations of Sir Alfred Hopkinson with regard to the organization of the Law school with reference to existing local conditions and requirements partly of a widely-expressed desire to have the school turned into an efficient full time institution.
