School at Calcutta The new Public School for Bengal Government of Bengal on the is going to be opened by the Houses Alipore which has 2nd of July next at Hastings temporarily been placed at the disposal of the Government of Bengal by the Goverment of India for this purpose. [...] * * * THE review by the Mysore Government of the report on education for 1913-1.1_ submitted by the Inpector-General of Education is an encouraging document as it furnishes one more proof of the earnestness of the Durbar to pursue a thoroughly sound edcational policy. [...] The Durbar it is welknown have decided to assist in the starting of 1 00o aided schools in the different ditricts with the active aid and co-operation of the representatives of the people and it is most satisfactory to learn that the reponse from the people has been encouraing. [...] At the next meeting of the Senate to be held on the 19th June the Syndicate is to recomend to the Senate that a sum of Rs. [...] Banerjee Satish removes one of the leaders of Tuesday the 8th of June and educational workers of i9I3 in the very prime of life the land.
