[...] The former shows the lack of the spirit of sacrifice while the latter indicates that of the spirit of unity and character These two— unity and service are the watch words of the Sons and Daughters of India and if they remain faithful to the solemn pledge they have taken they will find that the chief trouble above spoken of simply vanishes. [...] May the one Supreme Lord of the Universe worshipped under different names bless the Anatha-Mitra-Mandals and working for the Mandals may the brothers and sisters of this Order make it easier for Him to pour into their hearts and through them into India and into the world the spirit of Unity and Service. [...] To enable this to be done with greater effort the Lodges of the “Sons of India” should always have a group for the discussion of the best means of promoting the education of women. [...] Let each well consider the opinions of others and it is good for the most impetuous to have the weight of the slowest and the slowest to be pushed forward by the more ardent ; only thus will the golden mean be obtained which will give promise of future gain without danger of present loss.
