[...] He will doubtless not comprhend that beneath all the turmoil and seemingly senseless charlatanism of Priest and devotee the All-pervading Beauty of the orizinal concept of One-ness and the fact of the supreme belief in the attributes of the Omniscient One God. [...] Iii.1 exaltation is the reward of the decent and the pil"rim hreached the pinnacle of desire when he stands on the old si-ps leading down to the Sacred River and laves his body in the literal water with the thought of spiritual purifcation. [...] The value of the offerinis gauged by the sincerity of the spirit of the offerer.
