[...] The aim and object of the plan must be " the furtherance of human well-being the promotion of the welfare of the people and the improvement of their standard of living including the raising of their level of nutrition." OPTIMUM NUTRITIONAL REQUIREMENTS But to raise the level of nutrition it is necessary to ascertain the average nutritional requirement.
