[...] Now if we sell 1 lb of the superior kind of tea at the price of the mixture there will be a loss 39 ; and I have to take such quantity of the second kind that the loss on one may be compensated by the gain on the other in order that the price of the mixture may be 4s. [...] But because gives the cause of the event itself and for gives the proof of the statement of the same.
