CALCUTTA. In chronic complications of Gonorrhoea IN the treatment of the chronic complications of gonorrhoea some very striking results have followed the intramuscular injection of Contramine an organic sulphur compound with a complex molecule which according to a well-known authority owes its remarkable clinical action to its power to give the patient the means to resist the attack of [...] The scope of the Journal embraces Bacteriology Biochemistry Physiology Serology and other Sciences in so fol.- as they are applied to the discovery of the causation diagnosis or cure of disease in man by the experimental method. [...] justification for regarding Monilia albicans as the cause of the disease owing to its constant presence in the tongue saliva intestinal mucus and stools of sprue patients and its rarity in the faeces of normal individuals and of those suffering from other forms of diarrhoea.
