In the most conclusive of the clinical investigations whicfr established the value of concentrated vitamins A and D in the treatment of infections the exceptional effectiveness of Adexolin was attributed at least in part to this natural balance. [...] Illustrative matter should not be sent in the form of unarranged drawings or photographs but be definitely arranged or allocated by the author as so many text-/iqures or plates as the case may be having due regard to the size and shape of the page of the Journal and the capacity of the drawings or photos for reduction. [...] This serum was taken at the end of the relapse and the reaction probably indicates the beginning of a rise to the spirochwte causing the relapse in this case the A ' type. [...] In the majority of cases the titres to the A ' and 13 'TABLE I. CA O Giving the results of agglutination tests carried out with the various types of spirochetes derived from the Madras strain and sera obtained from patients suffering from relapsing fever in the Multan Hazro and Dera Ghazi Khan districts of the Punjab India. [...] The natural history of the disease in these cases is so different from that of the louse-borne type with which we have been familiar up to the present that a preliminary account of the special features of the disease as it occurs in these areas will be necessary before recording the results of our aerological tests.
