In view of the fact that the food plants of an insect species which is a pest of a forest tree may comprise plant species which are of neutral importance to forestry it is considered desirable to include all such records ; provided that the food plant is one of the trees shrubs and climbers mentioned by Gamble in his Manual of Indian Timbers."
