For the secretaries and others who have the privilege of writing to the Magazine are only voicing the feelings of the majority of those whose career at the College is ended. [...] the singles in the College Tournament and K. Bhattacharyya and J. Guha the winners in the Doubles not to speak of the two members of the staff who were runners-up in the latter event. [...] It is characteristic of the vigorous spirit and progressive outlook of these three ePrincipals that they congratulate the College on the forward steps it has taken in recent times including the great increase in the number of women students in the College a movement it is pointed out beginning with the admission of the first woman student during the Principalship of Mr. [...] Besides your high office of Judge of the high Court " he continued "You are Vice-Chancellor of the University of Patna and it is a special honour for one of the largest of the constituent Colleges of the University of Calcutta to have as Chairman to-day the head of a neighbouring University which has recently shown much courtesy to a former head of this University and in whose service you will [...] At the end of 1930 the number on the rolls of the College exceeded 1400 making it the largest missionary college in the East.
