The late Sir B. B. Ghosh in whose death Bengal mourns the loss of a distinguished Judge of the Calcutta High Court and a member of the Executive Council of the Governor of Bengal and for a time of the Viceroy of India passed the whole of his college life in this institution during the years 1883 to 1889.
