The most important and perhaps the most pleasant function during the last term was the Celebration of the "School Day" and the formtion of an old Students Association in the school. [...] The Ceremony of bidding farwell to the Students of the Matriclation class was the last but not the least pleasant function of the last term. [...] " The Bethune Collegiate School Old Students Association The first in augural meeting of the old students of the Bethune Collegiate school was held in the hall of the main building on Friday the 5th October 1934 at 1 p. m. The following ladies took part in the work of the meeting :- Srijukta Kamala Debi. [...] In 1907 the prize was awarded to Rudyard Kipling the well-known British poet born in Bombay on December 30 1865 in consideration of the power of observation origiality of imagination and also the manly strength in the art of percetion and delineation that characterzes the writings of this world renowned author'. [...] His high idealistic and mystical vision the universal love of makind and review of the world as the visible embodiment of God have all placed him in the front rank of the world poets of the time.
