Thus the consideration of the continuity of the energy-function../4 leads its to the continuity of the derivative 0 r across the boundaries of the gravitational field described B by (3.6). [...] The rapid movement of the fluorescent spot during the early portions of the pulses could not affect the photgraphic plate and so only the stumps of the decaying portions of the pulses are to he seen The photographic negatives showed the pulsesT DliToURNA1 or 'VHF UNIVIRsITY or itomflAy DARK IRRADIATED AVvotaS shoo) pwlse Positions. [...] The purity of the alkali solutions was tested by measuring the electrical conductivity of solutions of different normalities prepared by diluting the stock solution."16 JOURNAL OF THE UNIVERSITY OF BOMBAY Preparation of the solution of zinc hydroxide in potassium hydroxide :- A known amount of the sample of zinc hydroxide was taken in a small Jena glass conical flask and treated with 20 c.c. [...] In the solutions under discussion the total solubility of Zn(01I)2 is (Inc to the formation of (i) potassium zincate and (ii) the colloidal solution of Zn(OH). In the relatively dilute solutions it appears that the stability of potassium zincate diminishes at temperatures above 55T this being the upper limit of temperature marking the maximum stability of the salt. [...] From the table it is apparent that as in the case of solution of Zn(OH) in solutions of Na011 the order of the solubility of three samples is a > b > c which is the reverse of that obtained for their specific gravities respectively.
