The tide of thought and feeling has set strongly in favour of this University that shall represent the depth of the ancient thought and the vigor of modern conditions ; let us then take full advantage of the growing enthusiasm and with a strong pull and a pull altogether loosen the strings of our money bags and at once accomplish our object. [...] Within a few miles of the ample stores of One Ton Depot the rescue party came upon Captain Scott and the remaining two of the party dead from want and the hardships of the way. [...] This result has been achieved by the united efforts of a number of English and Indian workers labouring together for the cause of spiritualising education as brothers and sisters of a common race ; with the generous support of the Hindu princes and people chief among them Their Highnesses the Maharajas of Benares and Kashmir ; and by the friendly sympathy and fostering help extended by the Gov [...] And the prsent management of this College are now eagerly and hopefully awaiting the dly when by the generous gifts of princes and people and the benevolent sanction of the Supreme Government the little seed of spiritualised education sown fourteen years ago in the shape of this College will grow into the strong plant of such a University as will in days to come really achieve the ideal-of [...] Under present conditions our executive is by no means sufficiently cognisant of the various educational problems which arise from day to day in the administration of a large insttution like our own and the experience of the last ten years forces me to the conclusion that while the financial side of College and Scholl management and all matters connected with the general upkeep of the instituti
