The letter shall be laid before the next meeting of the Council and the names of the Candidate and his proposer and seconder shall be read at the two ordinary general meetings next ensuing such meeting of the Council and during the interval between these two meetings shall be suspended in the Society's meeting room and the person proposed shall be balloted for at the last of such ordinary gene [...] Whenever there shall appear cause for the removal of a Member from the Society the subject shall be laid before the Council ; and if a majority of the Council shall after due deliberation determine by ballot to prpose to the Society the removal of the said Member the President shall at any ordinary general meeting of the Society announce from the chair such determintion of the Council ; [...] meeting of resident Members to that of the whole Sciety the Council shall comply with the requisition ; but the expense of collecting the votes of non-resident Members shall be defrayed by the persons who have signed the requisition the amount to be refunded by the Society if the decision appealed against be reversed. [...] The report shall state the income and expenditure and disbursements the balance in hand the debts and assets and the increase or dcrease of the Society during that year ; it shall also specify the average monthly income and expenditure and give an estimate in detail of the probable income and expenditure of the succeeding year The report shall also set forth the progress of the Library an [...] 2. To attend the general meetings of the Members and meetings of the Council; to take minutes of the proceedings of such meeting during their progress and at the commencement of every such meeting to read aloud the minutes of the previous meeting.
