This is another small shell belonging to the same group as the one described by us in the Society's Journal for 1869 p. 1.59 tider the name of G. sub-pliata in the present species the sculpture is more regular and the colouring more vivit being slightly flamed with a very dark green principally on tit* whorls near the apex ; also closely dotted with the same on its base ; the umbilicus i [...] described it is also composed of fewer whorls the last being peculiarly somewhat flattened ; the sculpture is obsolete on tho first throe just discernble on the fourth and very distinct on the last two whorls ; the notch at the base of the peristome is less conspicuous than in the other species of the genus ; the shell is of a straw colodr irregularly marbled and streaked with greenish zigz [...] A deep brown band from the nostril through the eye and above the ear along the side and on to the base of the tail with a moderately white band above far over the supereilium along the side of the back ; another through the upper labials and ear to the shoulder where it changes into the pale greenish yellow cif the side. [...] A very faint broken blackish line from the aterle of the mouth to the shoulder and three or four from behind the fore limb along the side of the belly. [...] Foie limb when laid forward readies to the anterior angle of the eye ; the posterior extremity covers 4-5ths of the iternal between the groin and the axilla.
