So the property is under the control of the shrine and is known as the Twenty-two Thousand.' The Flitilut of the saint has from of old been held in the month of Rajah and faqirs of all sorts and many laymen assemble from th© beginning to the 22nd of the month. [...] It was the scene of the last prank of Rajah Bhava candra and the explanation of the name given to mo was that it was the tank of the final se:tlement or conclusion. [...] The king of the country was jealous and said " my treasury is in the bands of the Shaikles father he gives to the Shaikh." So he ordered that the Shaikh be turned out of the city and sent to Simitrgri8. [...] The chronogram for the last is Shamsn-bidaynt.1 In the book of the custodian of the shrine it is written that ho died on the 9th Zii-l-qa`da 818 (1415) and the chronogram is 64)/4.03 " Light wont to Light." 2 But the author saw a small stone over the door of the kitchen in Nair Qutb's shrine with an inscription which probably relates to the death of the saint and may have fallen down from h [...] This is to take the date 863 as refering to the erection of the tomb by Latif and not to that of the death of the saint.
