Gentlemen when in the glorous past the young boys left their homes at a tender age for learning at the feet of those great selfless Gurus whose home and school was in the flaw ( Tapovana) your students learnt without any effort the work and virtues of scouts in the best sense of the term. [...] I ask myself and you this question; What was it in the brahtnacharya training that made it such a lasting influence for gocd in the lives of the Indian youth of those days ? What was it that made them persevere in it ? What was their inspiration?" The only answer that I have been able to find is simply this "It was the relation with the guru." So far as I have been able to make out that was the [...] This was the secret of the great ones of the Past; it is equally the secret of the great ones Of To-day those whose names will not be forgotten those who haVe touched the hearts of the people and whose work will last long after their bodies have been returned to the elements. [...] The real plant is underground which consists of a vast net work of filaments called the mycelium and the mushroom is only a shoot sent out of the ground to help the disperal of the spores The one thing remarkable in the fungus is the totall absence of chlorophil the green colouring matter found in all plants and with the help of which they prepare their food. [...] SIR I have great pleasure to inform you on behalf of the Baby Week Committee Jalgaon troop that the Scouts from the first and the second Jalgaon troop :rendered most active and invaluable service to the committee in the celebration of the Baby Week.
