[...] If there is a wrong anywhere one has to resist it whether through violence or non-violence If the means are violent the object of the soldier is to change the heart of the wrong-doer through the instinct of rear. [...] Rajendra Prsad in a message sent on the occasion declared that "the hitory of the nation is the bigraphy of Nehru and the bigraphy of Nehru is the history of the nation." Apart from its charming poetic tautology the historic dictum is instinct with profound significance.
