If the responsibility"4 VIGIL of the Government to the Parliament and of Parliament to the nation is a fact and not a myth the people have a right to know why Ministers find it necessary to resign. [...] But the pariotic proposal of the two leaders was rejected by the selfishness of the mill indutry that was always getting heavy protection at the epense of the nation. [...] But the man of faith works in the spirit of nishkam uattached to his work or the results thereof ! False pleas When the Government is asked to create even a limited exclusive market for khadi or any other cottage industry they trot out the plea of the :interests of the consumer. [...] Even in the matter of sugar when the consumer was delberately cheated to the tune of crores of rupees the goernment's anxiety was to prtect the industry and not the consumer. [...] The tail cannot wag the body; the body wags the But it must be said to the credit of the League that it is still a virile organisation.
