The cases of two others have been disposed of as occasion arose on considerations of a political nature thus the peace of the country impertively requiring it and order was passed diserving the Maliahs of Chinakhemidi in toto from the control of the Zamindar of the name an annual compensation being secured to him while in Katingiah on the other hand the title and possession of the pre [...] The Advocate General of Madras was consulted regarding the right of the Government to resume the Mutha and in the reference to the Advocate-Gene al the followning passage occurs.
