[...] provements were effected during the year :— (1) The temporary post of Additional Superintendent for the Dhalbhum subdivision in the district of Singhbhum was made permanent and in3 consequence a post of Superintendent and a feeder appointment of an Ass stant Superintendent were added to the cadre of the Indian Police in the pro ince with effect from the lst May 1934. [...] In spite of the strain the earthquake and the floods imposed upo the force the health of officers and men was on the whole good. [...] Credit is due to the Principal for a good year's work The health of the recruits was on the whole good The school was visited by the Superintendents of Bhagalpur and the $antal I'arganas and was inspected by the Deputy Inspeetor-General Northern Range and Inspector-General.7 20.
