It may be observed that the number of pupils under instruction of the age group 6-11 s 754 000 while the number of persons between the ages of 6 and 11 in British Districts of the Province according to the census of 1931 is 2 620 000. [...] The number of students in the University School of Economics The University and Sociology at the end of the year was 105 School of Economics of whom 27 were engaged in research. [...] The exhibition was held " in the Department from the 11th to the 19th April and what impr1ssed " the visitor most was not the number and variety of the designs "13 but the all round quality of the exhibition. [...] In ease of difference of opinion in regard to the recognition of a school provision has been made for a joint inspection of the school by the University and the Department. [...] The Ramnarain Ruia College and the Khalsa College have been affiliated to the Bombay University provisionally for a period of three years from June 1937 for the teaching of the courses of studies for the first two years in Arts and Science.
