Report on the Administration of the Danta State for the year 1930-31

The State is bounded on the north by the Sirohi State on the east by the Idar State on the south by the Gadhvada district of the Mahi Kantha Agency and on the west by the Palanpur State. [...] The authority and powers of all the heads of Departments have been well defined and each within his own sphere is quite independant of the other In matters of importance the Darbar is always accessible for the advice and guidance and the success which has attained the administration is therefore due to the Darbar's easy accessibility and conscientious application to the atlairs of the State. [...] The development of the so many natural resources of the State— the improvement in agriculture commencing with the assigning of the proportions of cultivable lands which abounds in the Tarsang Mahal the lands whereat is found to be suitable to the growth of cotton oil seeds and such other products the leasing out.
