The crowning achievement of the department during the year is the arrest of a dangerous gang of Desi Rohillas whose depredations covered the Bidar Nander Parbhani Medak Atraf-i-Balda and the Paigah Districts. [...] The increase in the number of offences against public justice and the person is I regret to say the direct outcome of the leniency shown to accused persons by the courts. [...] On the occasion of the Jatra of the Hindu Temple at Narayan Garh the SuInspector who was encamped there heard the beating of a Dhapra at 2 PR6 9 o'clock in the night.
