Tne staff has also been strengthened by the appointment of three Professors in the Faculty of Science one Professor and Principal in the Faculty of Engineering and by appointing a number of Junior Lecturers in various Departments The outstanding change in the constitution during the current year was the abolition of the post of the PrVice-Chancellor and the institution of the Faculty system. [...] Sheikh Abdur Rashid goes the credit for the success of the History Week and it is a matter of pleasure for us all that the Editorship of Volume V of the History of India which the History Congress contemplates publishing in 12 Volumes has been entrusted to Professor Habib and the other members of the History Department. [...] The Riding School presented Guards of Honour to Their Highnesses the Rulers of Rampur and Bhopal His Excellency the Governor of the United Provinces His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief and escorted the Qaid-i-Azam on the occasion of his annual visit to the Univesity. [...] The railway authorities placed n room at the railway station at the disposal of the Department which has added to the efficiency and the working of the Department. [...] In spite of difficulties we have retained our high academic standard and my thanks are due to all the members of the staff and particularly to the Deans of the Faculties the Provosts of the three Halls and the Proctor who have been engaged in the onerous task of running this University.
