The Council of the Medical Education Society of Bengal have the honour to submit the Annual Reports of the Carmichael Medical College for 1927-28 (1st April to 31st March) and of the attached Hospitals for the year 1927. [...] 5 000 with the vendors for the sale of the land through the Land Acquisition Collector for the sum of Rs. [...] The total deficit in the next year's Budget (excluding cost Of the 2 plots of land and the construction of the proposed Maternity Hospital) amounts to Rs. [...] In view of the extra cost of maintenance and the increase in the number of beds in the hospital it has become extremely difficult to run the institution as efficiently as it is desirable with the available funds.
