It is bounded on the north by the Mey war sttes of Dungarpur and Banswara on the east by the sudivisions of Thebalod and Dohad in the Panch Mahals Ali Rajpur and other petty States of the Bhopawar Agency and a part of Khandesh ; on the south by the Gaikwar territory and the Mandwi sub-division of Surat and on the west by Ankleshwar and Broach by the Gaikwar territory by Godhra and K [...] 6. In the outlying villages of the province to the west along the Mahi and in the Aspect north and south 1where the ditrict stretches into the Guzarat plain i e. in Balsinor and west part of Rajpipla the land is open and flat. [...] These arrangements were copleted in 1825 and in the same year the Baroda authorities placed the territories of the petty chiefs of the PUndu Mihvas on the banks of the Mahi under the British control. [...] In 1842 ( 12th January ) under the order of tire Court of Directors the office of Political Agent in Rewa Kantha was re-established the criminal powers of the chiefs were graded and except of RaRe-establishment of pipla who was granted the power Political Agency 842 of life and death the supplemetary jurisdiction of the chiefs was' vested in the court of the Political Agent. [...] Before the close of the year with the help of the Chiefs of Bdriya and Chhota Udepur and the rulers of Baroda and Gwalior the leading Ndikdas were either caught or had submitted.
