Annual Report on the Working of the Indian Trade Unions Act (Act XVI of 1926) for the Bombay Presidency for the year 1936-37

As pointed out in paragraph 5 of the Report for 1935-36 the names of the 12 unions in Sind were transferred to the register of the Registrar of Trade Unions of that province on 1st April 1936 and the registrations of the following seven unions were cancelled during the year under report :- (1) The Girni Kamgar Mahamandal Bombay; (2) The Bombay.Hack Vicioriamen's Union Bombay ; (3) The Ahmedaba [...] For example the auditors of the Bombay Mill Workers' Union and the National Seamen's Union of India Bombay stated that they could not have access to all the books of accounts as some of them were reported to be in the possession of former officers of the union.
