They brought to the notice of the rich and influential ryots the appeal of H. E. the Viceroy regarding the improvement of livestock and the importance of the maintenance of good quality breeding bulls in places where none is now kept. [...] In accordance with the recommendations of the University Commission which inspected this College in the previous year in connexion with the recognition of this College by the University of Madras for the introduction of the Degree of Bachelor of Veternary Science of the University the number of students to be accomodated were limited to four in the bigger rooms and two in the smaller ones. [...] The fall in the total number of specmens examined in this section is due to the examination of specmens received from the College ward and Madras Corporation in the Clinical laboratory instead of in this section and to the copletion of the work on nasal schistosomiasis and cutaneous myiasis. [...] (3) The co-existence of Setaria digitata in the anterior chaber of the eye and the Thelazia rhodesii on thg mucous membrane of the eye in the same bullock. [...] The requirements of the field staff on account of the increase in the incidence of rinderpest in the Presidency necessitated a more accelerated prduction contrary to the forecast made in the last year's report of a probable decline in the demand for serum.
