Dated Karachi the ::.'4111 ho c I have the honour to forward herewith the Annual Administraiion Report of the Civil Veterinary Department in Ajmer-Merwara (British llaputana) for the ofN:al year 1911-1912. [...] The decrease in the number of cases treated on tour is due to the fact that owing to scarcity of fodder most of the animals were taken away by the zamindars to other provinces for grazing. [...] The decrease in the number of cases treated on tour and the"3 number'-of villages visited is due to the fact that owing to scarcity of fodder a great number of animals was carried away to some distant places where grazing was procurable and that less number of outbreaks was reported than the previours year. [...] Vide Table VIII.—There were two bulls present on the 1st of April 1911 the property of the District Board Ajmer ; none were added during the year and there was a balance of two at the close of the year.
