The Mulla Feroze Library Author’s Catalogue of Printed and Lithographed Books and Some Manuscripts with a list of Newspapers and other Miscellaneous Papers

In my Foreword dated 13th A pril 1923 of the first Catalogue published by the Institute — in the Catalogue of the Manuscripts and Books belonging to the K. R. Cama Oriental Institute — I said :— The first object for which the income of the Fellowship Fund given by Government to the K. R. Cama Oriental Institute is to be used is'the compilation and printing of a full and descriptive Catalogue of [...] Subsequently in the year 1917 the Managing Committee of the Mulla Feroze Library published a supplementary Catalogue of Arabic Hindustani Persian and Turkish Manuscripts and a Descriptive Catalogue of the Avesta Pahlavi Pazend and Persian Manuscripts of the Library compiled by Mr. [...] The books whose authors are not so known have been arranged in a second list in the order of the names of their printers and publishers and even when the latter are not known in a third list in the order of the names of the books. [...] The Managing Committee of the Mulla Feroze Library have kindly contributed part of the expenses of compiling the Catalogue and paid all the expenses of printing it. [...] An English version of the Arab% Text of the Athfir-ul-Bakiya of Albirfini or Vestiges of the Past " collected and reduced to writing by the author in A. H. 390-1 A. D. 1000.
