THE AGENDA OF THE CONFERENCE The following items were on the Agenda of the Conference as originally circulated :— 1. Reform of constitution of the Governing Body of the Intenational Labour Office. [...] The representatives of the employers were nominated by the Government of India on the recommendation of the Provisional Committee of the Federation of Indian Industries. [...] When the cost of disinfection is recovered from the trade the -effect is obviously an increase in the cost of the wool and a handcap to the trade of the country adopting disinfection. [...] Joshi took the opportunity of the discussion on the Director's report to raise the question of the almost exclusively European character of the staff and the desirability of establishing agencies of the Office in Oriental countries. [...] Article 2 The formal ratifications of this Convention under the conditions set forth in Part XIII of the Treaty of Versailles and of the coresponding Parts of the other Treaties of Peace shall be communcated to the Secretary-General of the League of Nations for regitration.
