The subject as to the reasons for the introduction of the Act is one of absorbing interest and I have therfore in the Introduction given in extenso the Objects and Reasons and the Proceedings in Council which were published from time to time in the Gazette of India and which I trust will be of use to students who may have to study the subject. [...] As regards the question of English Law I have under the various sections given a reference to the leading text-books and a perusal of the pages referred to in these notes will at once place the reader in Tull possession not only of the law on the subject but also of the authorities referred to in support. [...] 138.—Order of payment when legacy directed to be paid out of fund the subject of specific legacy... [...] 150.—Change by operation of law of subject of specific bequest between date of will and testator's death... [...] 16x.—Period of vesting where will directs that annuity be provided out of proceeds of prperty or out of property generally or where money bequeathed to be invested in puchase of annuity...
