The Hindu Wills Act being Act No. XXI of 1870

The subject as to the reasons for the introduction of the Act is one of absorbing interest and I have therfore in the Introduction given in extenso the Objects and Reasons and the Proceedings in Council which were published from time to time in the Gazette of India and which I trust will be of use to students who may have to study the subject.
