The farm was transferred to the Hill Circle in December 1927 and now forms the nucleus of the experimental work at the headquarters of the circle. [...] The crop was sown from the first to the tArclaweek of November and harvested in the second half of April. [...] None of the varieties was quite satisfactory; but the long-keeper was the best of the lot. [...] Costruction of temporary housing accommodation for the staff the stock and the office as also the equipment of the farm was taken up and the layout work started. [...] With the success in growing this fodder plant experiments will be made to introduce it in the economy of the system of cropping: Dodder appeared in the crop in the early stage but was carefully removed before it infested the whole plot.
