Report of the Indian Tariff Board Regarding the Grant of Protection to the Match Industry

The Indian Tariff Board was directed to hold an enquiry into the circumstances of the Match industry in India by the following Resolution of the Government of India in the Commerce Deparment No. [...] The first point for enquiry is whether the three conditions laid down in paragraph 97 of the Report of the Indian Fiscal Commission are satisfied in the case of the match induStry in India and whether the industry should be protected.
