In the United Provinces of Agra and Oudh &though good irrigational supply and timely rainfall led to increased cultivation the outturn and the quality of the fibre were seriously affected by very heavy rainfall in the beginning of October which caused serious damage to the crop and accounts for the decline in imports. [...] Under this arrangement of blocks the trade exhibited under Sind and British Beluchistan represents the trade of the l'rovinee of Sind and latish Baluchistan including the Native State of Khairpur but excluding the seaport town of Karachi the trade of which is shown separately. [...] I I. When the imports by rail from Sukkur and Kotri into Karachi exceed the imports by river from the Panjab the latter is elaswmi L (1v1-26 fl_l2 as imparts from' the Panjab into Karachi and the difference plus the imports from other stations in Sind and British Baluchistan to Karachi as trade between Sind and British Baluchistan and Karachi. [...] When the exports by rail from Karachi to Sukkur and Kotri exceed the exports by river to the Panjab the latter is classed as exports from Karachi to the Panjab and the difference plus the exports from Karachi to Sind (excluding Sukkur and Kotri) as trade between Sind and British Baluchistan and Karachi. [...] When the exports by river to the Panjab exceed the exports by rail from Karachi to Sukkur and Kotri the latter is classed as exports from Karachi to the Punjab and the difference as eports from Sind and British Baluchistan to the Panjab.
