It will be useful in providing for the extraction of the inalki teak from the northern half of the Mokhada Petha and also in accelerating the exploitation of certain forest blocks in that Petha. [...] There was also an increase in the area burnt in the West Khandesh Division which is attributed to the indifference of the people in the bordering villages of Pimpalner and Chinchpada Ranges. [...] At the close of the fire season two large fires occurred in the young teak plantations of the Ghotegali Round and in compartment 26 of Block X in Guild Range of the Kanara Western Division. [...] With the exception of the fires referred to above the remainder of the planted area in the Circle was successfully protected. [...] 8815i28 dated 6th June 1932 the Mahars of the forest hill villages of the Akola and San.ganmer talukas of the Ahmednagar District Were exempted from payment of grazing fees in recognition of the services rendered by them at the time of the Civil Disobedience Movement.
