2. There shall continue to be a D6partment of the public service to be Department of Paper Cucalled the Department of Paper Currency whose rency for issue of currency function shall be the issue of promissory notes of the notes. (r) The Head Commissioner of Paper Currency shall be the officer in Commissioners and Deputy charge of the circle of issue which includes the Town Commissioners of Paper Cuof Calcutta and the Commissioners of Paper Curency and Currency Agents.
