With the cessation of the War the scheme for the supply of vegetables and potatoes required for the use of the Military personnel was dropped and the question of the future working of the Vegetable Section was under the consideration of Government during the year. [...] The scheme for the supply of vegetables and potatoes to the Military was under consideration and it was finally dropped since the Military was not in need of large quantities of vegetables and potatoes as the war came to a successful end. [...] In Man dya District the Kar Ragi Campaign has held the attention of the District and Taluk Committees particularly and the District Committee has played a great part in making the Campaign successful and seeing to the distribution of prizes to the kar ragi growers.
