The two separated portions of the farm are now connected by means of three large roads and small culverts and a kachcha drain (nala) has been dug throughout the farm to drive out the superfluous jhil water into the farm tanks or into a nala outside the farm the result is that the cultivated area of the farm is extended from 65 to 68'7 acres and that the rabi crops can be taken in almost the whol [...] The results of the experiments are shown in the following statement :— lerla' Area of the plot Number of seedlings. [...] The number of the irrigations and the hoeing given to the trenches of eachplot was 101 and 11 respectively. [...] The seed of each variety was sown after the dibbling process in the last week of May and first week of June at 2 feet apart with the exception of that of Buri which was sown at 3 inch apart. [...] Twenty-four pickings were done in the case of Buri variety 21 in the case of yellow flower and 27 in the case of white flower.
