the small traders and craftsmen as also the poor wage-earning classes and people belonging to the struggling middle classes in the community will also be greatly profited if they could be made to realize the benefits of coperation being applied to the production of the commodities they deal in or to the supply of the articles they require for their daily use by inculcating upon them the need [...] 1 04 821 but on account of the larger issue of loans during the year the total amount of loans outstanding at the end of the year increased from Rs. [...] During the year under report however the accounts of the societies were audited by the Departmental staff under the old system during the months of April May June and July. [...] The quetion of the levy of audit fees and the appointment of a separate cadre of district auditors is now under the consideration of the Local Administration. [...] The latter was appointed as an Honorary Organizer towards the end of the year while since the close of the year the former has also been appointed as Honorary Organizer of the Nowgong district.
