SIR I HAVE the honour to submit the report on the Agricultural Stations of the Rohilkhand circle in the United Provinces for the year ending 31st Nay 1924. [...] The farm is situated on the second milestone of the ShahjahanpuS.itapur metalled road the Ma.hamdi road crossing it in the centre and is about two and a half miles from the Shalijahanpur-Oudli and Rohikhand Railway station on the left batik of Khaunaut rivulet. [...] In order to leave the rotation of the old farm undisturbed no new experiments were added during the year under report and the farm was run practically on the old lines. [...] were grown besides sugarcane which is the chief crop and industry of the locality.( 6 ) Since the farm came to this circle all the experimental work on cotton maize groundnuts juar arhar and potatoes which are not main crops of the locality and are not suited to the soil of the farm has been discontinued. [...] The inception of this farm was due to the recommendation of the Indian Sugar Committee that a small station should be established in the hills for the production of sugarcane sets for the plains after the Java model in order to maintain the vigour and immunity from disease of selected canes.
