C. 7 RULES OF THE GUILD 1. The object of the Guild shall be to co-operate in promoting the knowledge and application bf Pure and Technological Science in India with a !view to the improvement of the methods of economic production and the amelioration of the sanitary condition of the people. [...] The minimum number to form a Section shall be five and the formation of a Section shall be subject to the sanction of the Executive Committee. [...] PANIKER presented the annual report as follows :- The following is the Second Annual Report of the work of the Indian Guild of Science and Technology which the Committee have great pleasure in presenting for your accetance. [...] Throughout the whole of the last session nothing has engrossed the attention of the Committee more than the question of organising different sections in India. [...] The Rules of the Guild were altered so as to re-model and simplify the system of collecting subscriptions and also to modify the constitution of the Executive Council.
