tin the Session 1930-31 there are 431 students on rolls.( 7 ) On the occasion of the Kumbha Mela 150 stdents and 6 teachers of the school rendered useful assistance to the pilgrims on the railway stations and the Fort. [...] Students of all of our city schools had prepared their own feats to be displayed on the occasion and the intelligent bearing their general cleanliness and their_ sports captured the heart of the President who speaking in Hindi eulogised the services of the Samiti in the cause of the education of the poor classes. [...] The table in Appendix C will give an idea about the location of the schools the staff and the number of students in the schools. [...] We have also to thank the staff of the Public Health Department the East Indian Railway the Post & Telegraph office and the Police for the spirit of co-operation and accommodation displayed by them. [...] We cannot omit to mention the indebtedness of the Samiti to the Director of Public Instruction U. P. for his kindly permitting scouts and scoutmasters in the varous schools in the U. P. to work in the Kumbha Mela and allowing to the latter a special privilege leave.
