NoTicr is hereby given that the Ninety-first Ordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders of THE LAWRENCE !UTE COMPANY LIMITED will be held at the Registered Office of the Company Chartered Bank Buildings Calcutta on Thursday the 7th February 1952 at 11-20 A. M. for the following purposos:— (1) To receive the Report of the Directors and pass the Audited Accounts for the half-year ended 30t [...] GENTLEMEN WE beg to submit herewith the Audited Accounts of the Company for the half-year ended 30th September 1951. [...] The Omnibus Tribunal set up in September 1950 concluded its hearing on the 25th July 1951 and the award was published in the Calcutta Extraordinary Gazette dated the 12th November 1951. [...] WE beg to report that we have audited the foregoing Balance Sheet of THE LAWRENCE t/TE COMPANY LIMITED as at 30th September 1951 and the Profit and Loss Account for the half-year ended 30th September 1951 with the Books and Accounts as kept in Calcutta in which have been incorporated the Certified Returns from the Mills. [...] We have obtained all the information and explanations we have required and in btu opinion such Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Account are drawn up in conformity with the Law and the Balance Sheet exhibits a true and correct view of the state of the Company's affairs according to the best of our information and the explanations given to us and as shown by the Books of the Company.
