According to reslutions passed in the -meetings of the Board copies of the U. P. Removal of Social Diabilities Act 1947 as extended to AjmeMerwara were sent to the various officers of the Administration and they were asked to co-operate in bringing the offenders to book and ameliorating the lot of Harijans in general. [...] As this is the last year of the scheme the quetion of its continuance is receiving urgent consideration of the Government and it is expected that the scope of the Scheme will be expanded and more fundS will be made avaiable.
