I move : That this Council do agree to the recommendation of the Legislative Assembly that the Bill to consolidate and amend the law relating to steam-boilers he referred to a Joint Committee of the Council of State and of the Legislative Assembly and that. [...] The HONOURABLE THE PRESIDENT : To the question under cosideration amendment moved that this House do agree to the appointment of a Joint Committee but suggest for the consideration of the Legislative Assembly that the number of the committee be reduced from 22 to 14.
